Fit is great. Insoles are thick; not a ton of arch support. Walking through wet grass soaked right through side seams…These are the first pair of shoes I ever purchased that feel like I have worn them for years. No break in peorid, not getting use to just very comfortable from day one. I have bought a lot if shoes in my 75 years but these are the best fitting , most comfortable I have have the pleasure to wear! They fit nicely.I have ordered Drew shoes before. I have always ordered the same size - 9W and they always fit fine. I ordered the same size this time and I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. No clue why. I will order the same shoe in a larger size but if that doesn't fit, I will be done with Drew shoes. What also bothers me is that I have to pay a return shipping fee. I thought return shipping was free. You can bet if I have to return them again, I won't be paying this fee.Title: Big improvement over Blexley original!FYI, these shoes run wide. In the past, I purchased the Blexley in black in a 13 6E and my foot moved around too much inside. This time I bought the second generation in the cordovan (why don’t they bring back the “dark brown” which was really a great tan leather?) and the improvement is very noticeable. They have a “bolder” look with contrasting stitching and a generally beefier look. They are SO comfortable....I have been waiting and hoping for Drew to do this to this shoe....they fit perfectly for my weird high instep, wide as Texas feet. They look good too...even better in brown....OK, enough, I know.....These shoes have quickly become my default shoe...my great Sketcher’s wide slipons are great for no-socks days too.I've had a couple of pairs of Bexleys in the suede that worked really well. These are nothing like them. Low arch, shirt top of foot when used with orthotics.
